ADULT COLORING BOOK
Gardner-Webb University
In 2020, while working as a Senior Graphic Designer at Gardner-Webb University, the challenges of COVID-19 and social distancing were at their peak. Faculty and staff sought creative, contact-free ways to keep students engaged in their dorms—particularly new students who were still unfamiliar with the campus.
This led to the creation of an adult coloring book that I fully illustrated and designed. The book highlights key landmarks around the GWU campus, accompanied by brief historical notes for each location. Even the back cover was made to be colorable, allowing students to personalize their books and easily identify them.
The coloring books were a huge success, and were so popular that the university sold them in the campus store as souvenirs for alumni and families that year!
