MAGAZINE SPREAD FOR “THE DIGITAL DILEMMA”

In 2022, I designed a spread and created illustrations for the article “The Digital Dilemma — Can Students Grow in Online Spaces?” by Morgan Strehlow, featured in Christianity Today, a monthly publication offering both print and digital editions to its subscribers.

For this project, my goal was to juxtapose the organic, natural forms of loose illustrations with the structured elements of digital technology. This contrast visually underscored the article's central theme: the tension between the convenience and safety of online learning during the pandemic and the need for authentic growth through interpersonal relationships.

Assets created: 6 multi-page layout with print guides and cut lines, digital images for the PDF issue, and standalone digital assets for ads and banners.
